Abstract:
To provide an information processing system that enables search for an optimum solution through annealing or the like by converting, to an Ising model, a strongly non-linear objective function derived from machine learning.SOLUTION: An information processing system includes: an objective function derivation system that derives an objective function by performing machine learning on a learning database; and a function conversion system that converts the objective function. The objective function derivation system has: a machine learning setting unit that sets a machine learning approach; and a learning unit that derives the objective function. The function conversion system has: a dummy variable setting unit that sets a generation method for a dummy variable; a dummy variable generation unit that generates the dummy variable; and a function conversion unit that, by deleting an explanatory variable appearing explicitly in the objective function by using the dummy variable, reduces the dimension of a nonlinear term of the explanatory variable at an order higher than a second order to the second order or less and that converts the objective function to a non-constraint quadratic-form function or the linear-constraint linear-form function regarding the dummy variable and objective variable.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
