Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a time required for specifying a user in accordance with a character input.SOLUTION: An information processing system includes: an attendance recording unit for performing the writing or reading of attendance records related to a registered user in or from a storage device; a user management unit for retrieving the user who performs attendance recording; an input unit for accepting an operation input from the user; and an output unit for displaying information to the user. The user management unit is configured to, when the user inputs characters indicating the family/first name of the user to the input unit in accordance with the display of the output unit, retrieve users whose family/first names forward match the family/first name of the user, and to select one user from the retrieved users, and the attendance recording unit performs the writing or reading of the attendance records of the user selected by the user management unit in or from the storage device.
