To provide an information processing system which can prevent information leakage from a portable terminal without damaging convenience of a user when possibility of unauthorized use is low.
A first terminal transmits a present position to a server (S11), and the server transmits a signal showing whether the present position of the first terminal satisfies a use permission condition or not to the first terminal (S14). The first terminal locks a self-device when the present position does not satisfy the use permission condition, and starts data deletion in the self-device when prescribed time elapses (S16). The server transmits the present position of the first terminal to a second terminal (S12), and the second terminal transmits a suspension signal to the first terminal via the server (S20 and 21) when the second terminal acquires suspension instruction information to the first terminal (S19). When the first terminal receives the suspension signal, it suspends locking/deleting processing and restores data in the middle of deletion when the present position satisfies the use permission condition (S17).
