To provide an information processing system for shopping easily understandable in a visual way capable of handling not only product information such as a name and a price of a product but also photograph information on the product.

The information processing system for shopping comprises: an information card; a portable terminal 20 for photographing to read the information card; an information processing terminal 30 for collecting photograph information and product information; and a server 40 for receiving the photograph information and the product information. The portable terminal 20 comprises: image photographing means for photographing the information card; storing means for storing image data of the photographed information card; and outputting means for outputting the stored image data to the information processing terminal 30. The information processing terminal 30 comprises: reading means for reading the product information on the product from a bar code in the image data; displaying means for displaying the photograph information on a monitor; purchase deciding means for receiving purchase decision on the product; and decided information transmitting means for transmitting the product information on the product decided to be purchased to the server 40.
