This information processing system is provided with a storage means 42 for storing information associated with inputting operation contents when a user performs the inputting operation of an information processing terminal 1 and the position information of the user at that time, an inputting operation contents detecting means 11 for detecting the inputting operation contents when the user performs the inputting operation of the information processing terminal 1, and a position detecting means 13 for detecting the position of the user when the user performs the inputting operation of the information processing terminal. The information associated with the same inputting operation contents and position information as the detected inputting operation contents and position information is retrieved from among the information stored in the storage means by a retrieving means 31, and the result is displayed at a display means 15. Thus, the information is retrieved under the consideration of not only the position information but also the inputting operation contents at the position so that a user 6 can efficiently acquire his or her desired information.
