Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the device capable of operating plural kinds of bar code readers different in control command system by the same program, reduced in power consumption, small in size light in weight and high in operability by discriminating a connected bar code reader, converting the control instruction statement described in a fixed form to a control command in accordance with the classification of the bar code reader and transmitting it.
CONSTITUTION: The classification of an external apparatus 2 connected to an information processing terminal equipment 1 is discriminated by a discriminating means 11 and is stored in a storage means 12a. That is, the discriminating means 11 discriminates whether the external apparatus 2 connected to the information processing terminal equipment 1 is a first bar code reader or a second bar code reader by the response method of the external apparatus 2. The control statement of the information processing terminal equipment 1 described in a prescribed form is converted by a control instruction conversion means 13 in accordance with the discrimination result stored in the storage means 12a and the conversion system stored in a storage means 12b and is transmitted to the external apparatus 2.
