Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely receive all response data without being affected by the processing speed of received data or the insufficient capacity of a receiving data buffer at a host device to send out retrieval data, when a communication path is established but data are not transferred.
SOLUTION: A timing generating part 34 determines an interval of time from the reception timing of packet data for retrieval to the transmission of response data through a network 20 to a host computer 10 as data transmission waiting time. Thus, the timing generating part 34 discriminates whether the data transmission waiting time lapses from the reception timing of packet data for retrieval or not, and at the timing when the data transmission waiting time lapses, a network communication processing part 21 transmits the response packet data generated by a response packet generating part 35 to host computers 10 and 11 so that the host computers 10 and 11 do not simultaneously receive plural pieces of response data and can surely receive the response data.
