PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor and information processing method capable of exhibiting the effect of suppression to unauthorized use of digital data by performing deterioration processing meeting the payment of fare in transfer and reproduction of digital data for musical tone reproduction of a MIDI (Musical Instrument Digital Interface) etc.
SOLUTION: The information processor which reads out the digital data for musical tone reproduction, performs the processing to change the information, such as sound production events and sound production time, included in the read out digital data for musical tone reproduction and outputs the digital data for musical tone reproduction after the change when there is an instruction to read out the digital data for musical tone reproduction having the information indicating the sound production events and sound production time, the information processing method, the program, and the storage medium are provided.
