Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor capable of surely displaying information on a monitor when the monitor is loaded in the booted state of a system or in the case of changing a display output destination by depressing a hot key. SOLUTION: When the cover of a note type personal computer(PC) is closed, whether a VGA monitor is loaded or not, is discriminated, and when the VGA monitor is loaded, a display output destination is set up on the monitor. When the VGA monitor is not loaded, whether a TV monitor is loaded or not, is discriminated, and when the TV monitor is loaded, the display output destination is set up on the monitor. When the TV monitor is not loaded, the display output destination is set up on an LCD. When a cover is not closed, CMOS data are read out and its display output destination is set up. When the cover is closed in the booted state of the system, the occurrence of no display is prevented.
