To enable a processing of received data as desired by a user even when transmission of information whose transmission efficiency is fluctuated is performed by controlling an error correction processing of information data according to an error state and an allowable error state of the information data.

When data is received from a PC card by a portable computer, the PC card is driven and the received data is selected by a key input part (S10, 11). When an information processor is set to receive multiplexed data of FM multiplex broadcasting (S12), the allowable error rate of the multiplexed data in which the multiplexed data received by the PC card by using the key input part by the user is used as the information data is set (S13). Next, the received multiplexed data is discriminated whether it is equal to or less than the allowable error rate set by the portable computer or not (S14) by a CPU of the PC card, when it is more than the allowable error rate, data transmission is stopped, the fact is transmitted to the portable computer and an alarm is displayed on a display part by the portable computer.
