Abstract:

In the case of recognizing the moving direction of user's action on the basis of pictures obtained by photographing the user by a CCD camera 8 and generating a command corresponding to the recognized moving direction, a gesture recognition picture 100 of a searching state indicating the search of user's action in the picture during a period of not recognizing the moving direction of user's action is generated and displayed on a liquid crystal display 10, so that the user can be surely informed of a state that the user's action can be recognized and is in a waiting state.
