Abstract:

To provide an information processor and an information processing method for improving the use efficiency of a RAM.

This information processor 1 to which a plurality of devices can be connected is provided with a ROM (Read Only Memory) 11 for storing a plurality of programs corresponding to each of the plurality of functions of the device which can be connected to the information processor 1; a function specifying means for specifying the functions of the device based on information stored in the device connected to the information processor; a program specifying means for specifying the program corresponding to the function specified by the function specifying means from the ROM 11 and a writing means for writing the specified program in a RAM (Random Access Memory) 12.
