Key information (121, 122) for operating the mutual authentication of the IC chip and the storage module and/or for encrypting/decrypting data recorded in the storage area of the storage module is recorded in the IC chip and the storage area of the storage module; and a cache area is assigned to the storage area of the IC chip; and the IC chip securely reads predetermined data necessary for responding to the request of an external device (103) from the storage area of the storage module to a cache area after mutual authentication according to the request of the external device (103).
