The information processor 11 is electrically connected to the storage media 15 within the storage media support device 17 when the storage media support device 17 is mounted to the information processor 11, detects the contents of the data stored in the storage media 15 and sets the display pattern of the display means 21 that is arranged outside the storage media support device 17 so as to be observed by a user, into a condition corresponding to the detection result.
