Abstract:

To input start instructions or termination instructions of an application using a fingerprint image.

A fingerprint registration authentication recognizing part receiving a fingerprint image from a fingerprint sensor computes the feature amount of the fingerprint image (step S21n) and computes similarity between the computed feature amount and the stored feature amounts of all fingerprints (step S21o). An application stored in relation to the stored fingerprint feature amount with maximum similarity is started or terminated (step S21r).
