Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect the security of a personal computer by means a password without starting a note-type personal computer main body by providing a means for opening a lock by means of inputting a correct password when the lock is fastened in a state where a cover is closed.
SOLUTION: When the password is normally inputted by a password input key 5, a password input part 4 holds the password in a password backup area, transmits a message to fasten the lock to an LCD opening/closing lock part 3 and sets the lock. When the password input part 4 judges that the LCD opening/closing switch 2 is depressed, it displays a password input request to a password display part 6 and inputs the password by the password input key 5, reads the password which is inputted previous time and collates it with the inputted password. When the password is normal, the opening of the lock is transmitted to the LCD opening/closing lock part 3 and the lock is opened.
