Abstract:
PURPOSE:To simply and quickly process information when an instruction fetched by an instruction buffer is changed in a memory by a preceding store instruction by suppressing the preceding operation and stopping the writing in a general purpose register IGPR. CONSTITUTION:When a store instruction is decoded and the starting/ending addresses of the store instruction are found, a detecting circuit 1 compares the starting/ending addresses of the following address with those of the store instruction. When it is detected that the preceding store instruction changes the succeeding instruction, the circuit 1 holds the store address and outputs the address to an address comparator circuit 3. When the starting/ending addresses of instruction readout are found by a readout request made by the succeeding instruction, a detecting circuit 2 compares 4 the starting/ending addresses of the store instruction being executed with those of the store instruction in an execution waiting state. The OR 5 of the outputs of comparator circuits 3 and 4 is taken and stored in a cue 6. A detected result is selected by means of a selector 7 and, when an instruction is changed in a memory, execution of an arithmetic unit is inhibited.
