To provide an information terminal with a migration pathway to a destination, and to arrange means of transportation which arrangeable on the migration pathway.
A routing assistance service center 10 receives a place of departure and a destination from an information terminal 50; searches for a migration pathway to the destination, including arrangeable means of transportation including a taxi; and then sends routing assistance data thus found to the information terminal. When the routing assistance data contains a pathway of migration by taxi, the routing assistance data also contains information to ask whether to call a taxi. Upon receiving a taxi reservation request from the information terminal, the routing assistance service center 10 extracts a place for riding a taxi and an estimated time for transferring taxis, and arranges a reservation by sending a taxi reservation center 30 the place, the estimated time, and the name of the person who has made the reservation. Upon receiving a report of completion of reservation, the routing assistance service center sends the report to the information terminal that has made the reservation request.
