An information providing system presets a plurality of pseudo characters differing in response to the same subject, decides subject information, produces pseudo conversations about the subject information for each pseudo character, in a scene of conversation between the pseudo characters, changes roles of the plurality of pseudo characters in conversation with progress of a conversation about the subject information extracted by one of the pseudo characters, and shows a user the conversations between the pseudo characters before and after the change to generate in the system a conversation space full of variety to the user by roles of the personalities changed with progress of conversation, so that the user can be encouraged to participate in the conversation without boredom.
