This information providing system for construction machine comprises a main server 5 for performing exchange of information related to a hydraulic excavator 1 by information communication between a manufacturer or a consignee of the hydraulic excavator 1 and a service employee to the user or an owner of the hydraulic excavator 1 or his/her manager. The main server 5 acquires and stores data related to operation for each portion of the hydraulic excavator 1 through information communication in a database 5A, calculates, with respect to all hydraulic excavators 1, a time TA where a mechanical management cost curve A crosses a mechanical value curve B in future based on the data, and outputs the subsequent transition of a mechanical management cost curve A' when repairing and replacing a specified part related to the portion before the calculated time TA, and the subsequent mechanical value curve B' to an intermediate server 6 through information communication as service information for the user or owner of the corresponding hydraulic excavator 1.
