PURPOSE: To eliminate a microchange caused by a mechanical drive shaft and to reduce the consumption of driving energy, by floating up a recording medium and then turning it with no fulcrum to perform the recording and reproduction.

CONSTITUTION: A main magnetic pole 103 has a magnetic axis which is vertical to the recording surface of a recording medium 6 that is enclosed by a protecting member 102. An auxiliary magnetic pole 104 provided as if it enclosed the side face of the pole 103 with a maicrogap. In the record/reproduction mode, a tip of the pole 103 touches the surface of the medium 6, and a yoke 106 has a prescribed gap to the surface of the medium 6. The pole 103 of a magnetic head part 8 contains a compressed air feeding hole 10 at the side opposite to the area where a cover 9 is attached by the compression of air. A capillary tube throttling device 4 puts a capillary tube 402 made of the glass and having a slit of a diameter of several 10W several 100μm into a hole drilled to a substrate 401 and then fixes the tube 402 with an adhesive, etc.
