PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact reproducing device for an information recording medium, which is capable of preventing the damaging of the recording surfaces of an information recording medium and an information recording medium in an adjacent disk holder while the information recording medium in the disk holder is carried to an information recording medium reproducing part and increasing the housing efficiency of the information recording medium housed in the disk holder.
SOLUTION: A doughnut-shaped disk holder 120 is provided on a rack base 110 so as to be freely rotated, an information recording medium reproducing part 300 is provided in the inner peripheral side of the disk holder 120, and an information recording medium D is carried from the disk holder 120 to the information recording medium reproducing part 300 by an carrier arm 250 as an information recording medium carrying means. Carrying engaging parts 252a and 252b as the recording medium carrying engaging parts of the carrier arm 250, the operations thereof being restricted by the guiding grooves 221 and 231 of guides L220 and R230, are engaged with the information recording medium D. During the carrying of the information recording medium D to the information recording medium reproducing part 300, the carrying engaging part 252a is in slide-contact only with the outer peripheral edge of an adjacent information recording medium D'.
