Abstract:
PURPOSE: To display a discriminatable pattern on a CD-ROM when it is copied.
CONSTITUTION: A character and graphic pattern region 14 in which specific data is recorded is provided on a CD-ROM4. At the time of making an original disk, the CD is controlled with a first tracking linear speed which is previously decided by a specific tracking linear speed control system for each track so that characters and graphic patterns 10 cannot be distinguished, and a specific pit pattern corresponding to a specific data is recorded. At the time of copying, when the CD is controlled with a second tracking linear speed by the specific tracking linear speed control system and it is recorded, the character and graphic pattern 10 having a visible size appear on a copied disk due to a difference by optical reflectance for each region caused by arrangement of specific pit patterns corresponding to specific data.
