An information recording system 100 for storing by overwriting continuously incoming information about the running state of the movable body in which a setting section 101 sets a destination, a calculating section 102 calculates time required to get to the destination set by the setting section 101, a determining section 103 determines detection sensitivity toward behavior of the movable body as the detection sensitivity depending on the required time calculated by the calculating section 102, a detecting section 104 detects the behavior of the movable body through the detection sensitivity determined by the determining section 103, and a storing section 105 stores the information about the running state of the movable body when the behavior of the movable body was detected by the detecting section 104.
