Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an information registration system/method which codes the information, transmits the code to a center by means of the call key of a telephone, and converting the code into the original information to register it at the center.
CONSTITUTION: At the conversion part 1b of an electronic equipment, the input customer information is divided into members at a member coding part 1d and coded based on a name data base 4a and an address data base 4b. However, the members that cannot be coded are coded at a character coding part 1e for every character. These generated codes are synthesized into a single code at a synthesizing part 1f and then compressed into a smaller code at a compression part 1g. This compressed code is sent to an output part 1c which displays this code on a CRT 2 as a user number. The user transmits his number to a center by means of the call key of a telephone.
