Abstract:
To provide an information search device capable of displaying only a web page in which content a user can understand is described as a search result.SOLUTION: An information search device 20 includes: a storage section 21 that stores a web page collected via the internet and an index representing a degree of difficulty of content of the web page in association with each other; and an acquisition section 22 that acquires the web page in which content included in a field of a search object using terms is described with the associated index from the storage section 21 among terms representing the field of the search object input from a searcher who searches for a web page and scores proportional to a degree of understanding of the field of the search object of the searcher. The acquisition section 22 converts the index of the acquired web page into a score by a predetermined method for converting the index into a higher score as the degree of difficulty indicated by the index is higher, and determines the web page in which the converted score is equal to or lower than the input score as a search result.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
