This information terminal appliance has: the touch panel 3 provided in a display means 2; an input information control means 5 detecting input contents from display contents of the display means 2 in an input position and input position information from the touch panel 3; and a control means 4 arithmetically processing information from the input information control means 5, setting information or the like. Thereby, when prescribed input is present, the input via the touch panel is made to be ineffective for a prescribed time to prevent erroneous input during the cleaning, and the background color of the screen is made to be the blackish color to allow the user to clearly find the dirt, a mark of a fingerprint, or the like of the screen.
