An information terminal device 2 comprising an information processing part for communicating with a meter 1, a sensor or a consumer electronics device and for processing a variety of information, and a sending and receiving part for communicating with an information processing server device 3 via a communication line, is equipped with an interface part 308 for connecting a CCD camera 313 with a memory medium. The authentication information, used for communication when using a service provided by the information processing server device 3, is recorded on the memory medium, connected to the other information devices, connected to the information processing server device 3 via the Internet, and user authentication is performed for the service to be provided. Convenience of services and their operationality are enhanced by making an application service to process image information available also by other information devices.
