Abstract:

To provide an information terminal device capable of preventing the damage of a fingerprint sensor by an external force, performing a handwriting input by a stylus or the like, and being started with an easy operation.

This information terminal device is provided with the fingerprint sensor for fingerprint authentication, and a movable protection part for covering the fingerprint sensor. At the time of fingerprint authentication, the protection part is moved to expose the fingerprint sensor. The power supply of the device is inputted according to this movement to start the device, and the fingerprint sensor is also operated to perform the authentication processing as it is. The protection part for generally covering the fingerprint sensor is formed of a handwriting inputtable member, whereby the same handwriting input as a touch panel can be also performed.
