PURPOSE: To provide a character/graphic information vending machine which can supply only the desired character/graphic information to a user by selecting the desired information, a printing form and a printing medium and then editing and printing the character/graphic information onto an unprinted printing medi um that is chosen out of a storage.

CONSTITUTION: An automatic letter sentence preparation/print vending machine includes a monitor display device 2 containing a speaker on the front face of a case 1 together with the cash slots 3, a return slot 4 for the changes, etc., a printing medium discharging port 5, a desired print information input port 6, and an input device 7 consisting of a control panel which includes a touch panel serving as a character/graphic information selector means, the buttons and a pen. Thus a user selects a desired letter sentence example out of a data base contained in a storage based on a retrieved screen. Then a type of the printing type, a printing layout and a printing medium are selected on the screens. A standard printing format is decided as long as any specific format is not designated. Furthermore more detailed printing instructions are given from a printer device as necessary. As a result, the letter writing time and labor can be omitted.
