Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an infrared ray detection device disposed in a passenger compartment capable of improving the detection accuracy.SOLUTION: An infrared ray detection device 10 includes: an infrared sensor 301 which has plural infrared ray detection elements disposed in a matrix; an area determination part 201 for judging whether an area is a front seat area which mainly includes front seats or a rear seat area which mainly includes rear seats in a passenger compartment; and a drive control part 202 as a detection accuracy improvement part that improves the detection accuracy of the infrared ray sensors higher in the rear seat area than in the front seat area.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
