Abstract:
To provide an infrared detector for improving detection precision without using fans.
Infrared rays are outputted from a light source 7. Thermopiles 14a, 14b generate electromotive force corresponding to the rising ambient temperature by infrared energy. Operational amplifiers A1, A2 amplify the electromotive force of the thermopiles 14a, 14b, to which a divided voltage obtained by dividing a supply voltage Vcc by a fixed resistor R1, and a variable resistor DP1 is added for outputting to an A/D converter 32. A CPU 33a controls the value of the resistance in the variable resistor DP1 so that outputs VA, VB of the operational amplifiers A1, A2 become reference values, when no infrared rays are outputted from a light source 7.
