Title:
INFRARED DIAPER MONITORING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2016214804
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an infrared diaper monitoring device detecting an amount of urine excreted in a diaper or excretion of stool by infrared sensors disposed outside the diaper and notifying a caretaker or the like of the amount or the stool.SOLUTION: The infrared diaper monitoring device includes: peak value calculation means 40 including infrared sensors 10, 17, 18, 21 attached to the outside of a diaper and calculating an amount of urine excreted inside the diaper and excretion of stool by output values of the respective sensors; reference output value calculation means 41 detecting output values of points when the output values of the respective infrared sensors rise due to urination or evacuation and defining the output values as reference outputs; and weighted addition means 42 that calculates a substantial peak value by subtracting a reference output value for each sensor calculated by the reference output value calculation means, from an output peak value for each sensor generated when each infrared sensor senses each time of the urination and evacuation, and weightedly adding all the substantial peak values on the basis of the result. The infrared diaper monitoring device is thus configured to detect the amount of urination and the evacuation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
