Abstract:
To eliminate deterioration of an image caused by a focal plane array (FPA) itself generating heat as an infrared camera drives and to facilitate a calibration by a user.SOLUTION: The infrared imaging apparatus includes a temperature sensor 4 for detecting an FPA temperature mounted on an absorption layer 2 of an imaging device 1 in which pixels are arranged in a two-dimensional array where the infrared absorption layer 2 serves as a focal plane array (FPA). A plurality of offset tables for the FPA temperature is created in advance of imaging. An offset table is obtained by interpolation processing on the basis of the FPA temperature detected by the temperature sensor 4 at a time of imaging. Then, a non-uniformity calibration process for each pixel is performed by the offset table.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
