Title:
INFRARED RAY DETECTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH05118917
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide an infrared ray detector at low cost which has a simple structure and is easy to assemble. CONSTITUTION:An electrode 17 is formed on both front and rear sides of a pyroelectric ceramic substrate 16 and a blackened membrane 18 is formed on the electrode in the direction of an infrared ray transmitting window to give an infrared ray sensing element and a circuit element of a conjunction-type FET 8, etc., is connected on a circuit pattern of the pyroelectric ceramic substrate 16 to compose an infrared ray detecting circuit. The region from the infrared ray sensing element to the circuit is covered with an infrared ray transmissive polymer material 23 and further the external side of the infrared ray transmissive polymer material 23 is coated with an external coating layer. The external coating layer is cut along a cutting line 26 to expose the infrared ray transmissive polymer material 23 in the position opposite to the blackened membrane 18 and the exposed part is made to be an infrared ray transmitting window 25.
