Title:
INFRARED RAY DETECTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS63135830
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To detect infrared rays with high accuracy, by allowing the infrared rays from a chopper to be also incident to a compensating infrared ray sensor to compensate the rising in the temp. of the chopper. CONSTITUTION:A compensating infrared ray sensor 12 and a visual field blocking plate 15 are arranged in a cabinet 10 in opposed relationship so as to hold a chopper 13 therebetween and the visual field 12a of the sensor 12 is blocked to prevent the incidence of the infrared rays from the outside of the cabinet 10 to the sensor 12. The visual field blocking plate 15 is vertically provided in the cabinet 10 by a heat insulating material to prevent the heat transfer to the visual field blocking plate 15 from the heat generating source such the motor in the cabinet 10 and the visual field blocking plate 15 is held to room temp. Therefore, when the visual field 12a is closed by the chopper 13, the infrared rays from the chopper 13 are incident to the sensor 12 to detect the temp. of the chopper 13 and, when the visual field 12a is opened by the chopper 13, infrared rays are incident from the visual field blocking plate 15 almost held at room temp. By this method, infrared rays can be detected with high accuracy.
