The infrared-ray medical treatment device 1 is provided with a distance detecting part 20 detecting distance from an infrared-ray irradiation part to a lesion and a power control part 30 increasing/decreasing power to be supplied to an infrared-ray irradiation plate 13 based on the detecting result of the distance detecting part 20. When medical treatment distance which is detected by the distance detecting part 20 is shorter than design distance, the power control part 30 decreases power to be supplied to the infrared-ray irradiation plate 13 and it is increased when medical treatment distance is longer than design distance. Therefore, infrared-rays provided with proper strength is automatically and normally irradiated to the lesion even when a body is moved. Thus, the infrared-ray with normally proper strength is irradiated to the lesion while the user is medically treated in a favorite position and in a easy posture so that the high medical treatment effect is obtained.
