Abstract:
To quickly make rich coffee with advantages of using heat while avoiding extraction of undesirable compounds that result from the use of heat in a brewing process.SOLUTION: An infusing apparatus and a method for using the infusing apparatus are disclosed. In one embodiment, the apparatus comprises a portable device (200) for infusing a liquid with flavor from material, where the portable device comprises: a liquid container (201) to store a liquid; a brew chamber (204) to hold the material; and a pump (203) to generate a pressure differential, i.e., a difference between a pressure on tunnels within the material and a pressure on the brew chamber. An infusing device and a method for using the infusing device are described. In one embodiment, a process and an apparatus for recirculation brewing are disclosed that utilize a pressure differential for brewing coffee.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
