PURPOSE: To manufacture plural kinds of steel ingots from the same molten steel by setting spacer bottom part of the specific mold in ingot making method in plural kinds of molds with bottom pouring.

CONSTITUTION: The molds 1, 1' are laid on double surface plates 3, 3' arranged on a surface plate 2, and tip parts of runners 4 formed in the surface plate 2 with bricks are opened bottom part of the molds 1, 1'. Further, center part of the runner 4 communicated with a pouring tube 5 and a pouring basin part 6 is, arranged in the pouring tube 5. The spacer 7 is set at the bottom part of mold 1, and by arranging opening part therein to communicate with the runner 4, the molten steel is cast into each mold 1, 1' from the pouring basin part 6 through the pouring tube 5 and runner 4, and the plural steel ingots having different shapes can be manufactured with the same molten steel at the same time.
