Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To administer the stipulated amount of powder medicine to a patient by atomizing the powder medicine of bad dispersibility and preventing the powder medicine from sticking to a passage inner surface.
SOLUTION: This medicator is provided with an axial direction passage 16 for distributing a powder medicine air stream containing the powder medicine inside a capsule toward an inhalation port 13 and radial direction passages 18 and 19 for generating a rotary stream inside the axial direction passage 16 by using air on an atmosphere side. Thus, even the powder medicine of strong condensability and the bad dispersibility is diffused and atomized by the rotary stream inside the axial direction passage 16. Also, since the powder medicine is not contained in an air stream supplied from the radial direction passages 18 and 19, the powder medicine is prevented from colliding and sticking to the inner surface of the axial direction passage 16 or the like and the stipulated amount of the powder medicine is administered to the patient.
