To provide an inhibiting agent for active oxygen production and fibroblast disorder due to TNF-α.

An inhibiting agent for active oxygen production due to TNF-α contains at least one ingredient, as an active ingredient, selected from ethyl gallate, caffeoyl glucose, methoxy caffeic acid, hypoletin 7-O-glucoside, quercetin 3-O-(6"-galloyl)-glucoside, kaempherol 3-O-glucoside, quercetin 3-O-glucoside, kaempferol3-O-(6"-galloyl)-glucoside, gossypetin, junsainosideA, quercetin, tiliroside and kaempferol. Further, an inhibiting agent for active oxygen production due to TNF-α contains an extract of Brasenia schreberi as an active ingredient.
