Title:
INHIBITOR SWITCH
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2002175745
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a high-durability inhibitor switch capable of keeping the on/off condition accurately for a long time, irrespective of wear of its movable contact.

The inhibitor switch includes a stationary contact S3 and a movable contact 63, and insulator parts 37 and 39 made of an insulating material are formed protrusively on a base board 13 corresponding to the on/off changeover position of the stationary contact to constitute a boundary of the movable contact 63 contacting and out of contact with/from the stationary contact S3, and the movable contact 63 is furnished with a get-on part 85 capable of getting on the insulator parts 39 and 37 and when the movable contact 63 slides on the stationary contact S3 to take the on/off changeover position of the stationary contact S3, the get-on part 85 gets on the insulator parts 37 and 39 so that the movable contact 63 separates from the stationary contact S3 to generate the condition out of contact, and when the part 85 gets off from the insulator parts 37 and 39, the movable contact 63 comes into contact with the on/off changeover position of the stationary contact S3.
