Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an injection device, particularly, of a diesel engine capable of accurately selecting an injection timing and a duration time, varying an injection state, and reducing nitrogen oxide produced in exhaust gas, as well as its use method.
SOLUTION: A device injecting media of different pressures directly into the cylinders of an engine contains a first valve 3 and a second valve 4 injecting an additional medium, and reduces harmful substance produced by combustion with the additional medium. The second valve comprises a slender valve member 5 capable of being moved inside a valve body 2 against a force of a spring 12. A chamber 6 disposed on the cylinder side surrounds the valve member, and the additional medium is pressurized and injected into the chamber. In addition, the device is provided with a control valve 27 controlled by an electric signal 35, and the control valve 27 moves the valve member together with the pressure of the additional medium acting on a piston surface 7 inside the valve member to a position where the second valve opens and injects fuel.
