Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an injection equipment for the supply of gas and/or particulate material in the form of powder, granules or chips to a liquid, e.g. a molten metal, which is comprised of a rotation body which is designed to be lowered down into the liquid and has a rotation shaft driven by a drive unit.
CONSTITUTION: A material and/or gas are supplied to a liquid through a rotation body 1 via a coaxial bore in a rotation shaft 2. The specific feature of this equipment is that the rotation body 1 has a cone-like or funnel-like design and the bottom of the rotation body 1 is wide and nearly completely open.
