Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an injection-locked frequency divider and a PLL circuit which implement a wide band of operating frequency by reducing the influence of parasitic capacitance.SOLUTION: An injection-locked frequency divider 100 includes: a ring oscillator 140 in which a first amplification circuit 141 comprising an N channel MOS transistor 111 and a P channel MOS transistor 112, and a second amplification circuit 142 and a third amplification circuit 143 having a similar configuration are cascade-connected in three ring stages; an N channel MOS transistor 150 having a drain connected with sources of the N channel MOS transistors 111, 121, 131 of the respective stages; and a differential signal injection circuit 160 for injecting an injection signal I1 into gates of the P channel MOS transistors 112, 122, 132 of the respective stages, and injecting a signal having the opposite phase to the injection signal I1 as a differential signal into a gate of the N channel MOS transistor 150.
