Abstract:
PURPOSE:To make separation of unnecessary resin from a sprue forming board member reliable, by a method wherein the unnecessary resin is kept held in sprue forming board member through the resin in a notch, mold break between the sprue forming board member and a retainer plate is performed by a predetermined quality and the resin in the notch is extruded by an ejector pin. CONSTITUTION:At the time of a breaking action of a mold breaking surface L2, a runner part of unnecessary resin Y is held by the resin in notch 13 of a sprue forming board member 4 through considerably strong holding force. Therefore, the unnecessary resin Y is separated from a retainer plate 5 under a state where the same is stuck close to the sprue forming board member 4 reliably always. At a point of time when the mold breaking surface L2 is broken by a predetermined quantity by continuing a downward movement of a movable half 2, an ejector pin 17 is moved downward through action of an ejection mechanism 14 further. With this constitution, the resin in the notch 13 of the unnecessary resin Y is extruded through the sprue forming board member 4, the unnecessary resin Y is separated from the member 4 and taken out by an appropriate device.
