Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an injection-molded article low in head impact coefficient(HIC), not generating a crack at the time of impact, further, high in thermal deformation resistance and excellent in appearance (surface properties).
SOLUTION: An injection-molded article comprises a thermoplastic resin compsn. consisting of (1) an acrylic ester copolymer 5-65 pts.wt., (II) a maleimide copolymer 15-80 pts.wt., (III) a graft copolymer 5-75 pts.wt. and (IV) other thermoplastic resin 0-50 pts. wt. [the sum total of (I), (II), (III) and (IV) is 100 pts.wt.] and the phase structure observed by a transmission microscope in the cross section parallel to a resin flow direction at a depth of 5 μm from the surface of the molded article has stripe parts (A) with an average width of 0.0005-10 μm, an island parts (B) with an average particle size of 0.005-2 μm and sea like parts (C) other than the stripe parts (A) and the island parts (B).
