Abstract:
To obviate the need for largely opening a mold at the time of taking out a molded article, thus to suppress elongation and enlarging of a total length of an apparatus or a mold opening/closing mechanism.SOLUTION: In an injection molding machine 11, an intermediate platen 25 is provided between a first platen 20 to be installed with a first mold 19 and a second platen 16 installed with a second mold 15, wherein the intermediate platen 25 is rotatable around a shaft 28 orthogonal to a mold opening/closing direction C and has mold installation faces 25a and 25b on both sides to be installed with intermediate molds 21 and 22. Mold clampings between the first mold 19 and the intermediate mold 21 and between the second mold 15 and the intermediate mold 22 are simultaneously carried out. In such an injection molding machine, an ejector mechanism 50 is provided on the intermediate molds 21 and 22 or the intermediate platen 25. The injection molding machine has a take-out mode B in which the ejector mechanism 50 is actuated at a position where the intermediate molds 21 and 22 do not directly oppose to the fist mold 19 and the second mold 15, to take out a molded article P2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
