To provide an injection molding material which reduces discoloration and is free from a foreign odor due to scorching of vegetable fibers in melt kneading when made into a molded article, and reduces an adverse affect to the environment and the like, its manufacturing method, and an injection molded article.
The injection molding material has an aliphatic polyester as the major component and comprises 70-99.5 mass% thermoplastic plastic which has biodegradability and a melt flow rate (MFR) at 190°C under a load of 2.16 kgf of ≥4.0 (g/10 min) and 0.5-30 mass% vegetable fibers obtained by retting. The method for manufacturing the injection molding material comprises mixing a thermoplastic plastic having biodegradability with vegetable fibers obtained by retting and heat-kneading the resulting mixture at a specific temperature. The injection molded article is obtained by injection molding comprising a step of injecting the injection molding material at a specific temperature.
