PURPOSE: To prevent positional deviation of an insert material by previously inserting a guide member into a mold of an injection molding machine.
CONSTITUTION: A guide member 26 is inserted and fixed between molds 25 and 32 at a specified position. Then, an insert material (a laminate of an aluminum foil and a resin film) 21 is inserted between the molds 25 and 32 adsorbing it with an adsorbing plate 20 mounted at the tip of a robot. Here, the insert member 21 is guided and inserted smoothly with an aid of a guide member 26. In addition, as the size of the insert member 21 is larger than the interval of the guide member 26, the insert member 21 inserted into the guide member 26 is pressed securely with the guide member 26 to be positioned and fixed accurately without causing a positional deviation. After the closing of the mold, a thermoplastic resin is injected into a cavity 34 in the mold through an injection gate 30. This eliminates the positional deviation of the insert material in the molding process thereby elevating the insert accuracy in a molding.
